Gothami BV Sports Meet 2023

The annual Inter-House Sports Meet of Gothami Balika Vidyalaya was held recently at the Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo, under the patronage of the school’s Principal Subashini Dematagoda. All students of the school from Borella, participated at the event, where there were many sports events held during the day.

The four Houses in contention were Sanchi, Saranath, Ajantha and Thakshila. Sanchi was led by House Captain Lithara Perera under the guidance of House Mistress Sepali Bodhitunga, while the combination for Saranath was House Captain Pahanna Halwala and House Mistress Chamari Savithrika.

Ajantha had the leadership of House Captain Samadhi Thikshna with the guidance of House Mistress Inoka Harshani while Thakshila was led by House Captain Jenisha Vithanage, guided by House Mistress Induni Gunawardene.

The event was held with success with Lasanthi Muthukuda, the Assistant Principal and Co-Curricular Activities, Prefect of Games Theja Jayawickrama and Sports Coach Iresha Lakmali overlooking the proceedings.
