A half century by Pasindu Sooriyabandara guided John Keells to an easy 6-wicket win over Mode Engineering in an MCA Super Premier League 2023 50-over match played at Panagoda yesterday. Dhananjaya Lakshan and Raveen Sayer too contributed with unbeaten knocks of 48 and 22 respectively.
Off-spinner TM Sampath bowled Heyleys PLC to a 69-run victory over CDB in their match played at NCC grounds yesterday. Despite chasing a low score of 160, CDB were bowled out for 91 runs with Sampath ripping through the innings, claiming 6 for 13.
Half centuries by Asel Sigera (82n.o.) and Anuka Fernando (65) and a five-fer by Thanuka Dabare propelled Fairfirst Insurance to a 73-run win over Hatton national Bank ‘A’ in their match played at MCA grounds.
An allround performance helped CL Synergy Ltd to a comprehensive 99-run win over BBK Partnership in their match played at Dombagoda.
