The 41st One-day encounter between Trinity College and St. Anthony’s College played for the Sir Richard Aluvihare Trophy ended in a no decision due to heavy rain in Kandy yesterday.

The Antonians who were put in to bat first, made 228 for 8. They were struggling at 33 for 3 at one stage but a fourth wicket stand of 109 between Thisara Ekayanayke (51) and Janith Rathnasiri (66) gave a solid foundation for the visitors. Trinity made 34 for 1 in 5.5 overs after continued rain stopped play. Trinity lead the series with 19 wins to Antonians 17 while one game was tied and four ending in no decisions.
