St. Peter’s felicitates rugby partners

As a prelude for the upcoming Inter-School Rugby League season, St. Peter’s College felicitated their sponsors at a ceremony held at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel in Colombo last week. While unveiling the new rugby jersey of the St. Peter’s rugby team, the Rugby Foundation of the college, headed by Mangala Dharmapriya, officially recognised the commitment forwarded by their sponsors.
Among the top contributors of St. Peter’s rugby was Nabco, a leading solution provider in retail landscaping based in England, headed by Trishan Satyadeva, Hemas Hospitals, Cargills Kotmale and TDM International, an international freight forwarding company.
The rector of St. Peter’s, Fr. Rohitha Rodrigo as well as the rugby coaching staff headed by Sanath Martis, and members of the college rugby team were present at the event, alongside a number of former rugby players of St. Peter’s.
St. Peter’s will be one of the top contenders in the upcoming Schools League and Knockout competitions, which is set to kick off from next month.
