However, tragedy struck when their youngest son fell victim to the devastating Easter bomb attack at the Zion Church. The family was plunged into deep grief, and it took considerable time for them to heal. Despite their loss, the eldest son Joel who had played a critical role in launching the initial business sought to engage his grieving mother by gradually reintroducing her to the business.
As they reopened their doors, the demand for their homemade food climbed sharply and they began delivering meals directly to customers’ doorsteps. A simple phone call was all it took for the meals to arrive promptly.
