Entries called for Otters Open Badminton Championship
Entries are now being accepted for the Otters Open Badminton Championship, organised by the Western Province Badminton Association and the Otters Aquatics Club under the supervision of Sri Lanka Badminton (SLB). Entries will close on May 30.
The Otters Open Badminton Championship, a Level 1 ranking tournament accredited by SLB, will be held from June 12-18 at Otters Aquatic Club and SLB courts as well as Mercantile Badminton Association indoor courts.
Competitions will be conducted under three sectors — Junior, Senior and Open – in singles, doubles and mixed doubles categories. The junior category includes age groups of Under-11, 13, 15, 17 and 19. The senior category includes the Over-30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65 and 70. The tournament is sponsored by McFoil, Mobil Lubricants, LiNing, 3M and GAC.
