Pearson Edexcel resumes physical training events for teachers
View(s):The much sought-after Pearson Edexcel face-to-face Teacher Training events resumed after a hiatus of 3 years. Owing to global mobility restrictions due to the pandemic, Pearson resorted to online training and compensated for face-to-face events.
The first of a series of training events was kick-started by Jonathan Shields who conducted training in Edexcel International Advanced Level Business, followed by the IAL Chemistry training by Cliff Curtis. Each training event was attended by over 70 teachers. Those who completed the training received a printed certificate as well as a digital badge that could be displayed on their social and professional media profiles.
The teacher training events are fully sponsored by Pearson. It is an investment made by Pearson to help teachers understand updated syllabus content and teaching methodology. Many teachers who attended the training made positive remarks about the quality of the training.
