Mahinda College, Galle organises Mihindu Poson Perahera
View(s):The ‘Mihindu Poson Perahera’ organised by the Primary Section of Mahinda College, Galle, will take place on the morning of June 15.
The perahera has been organised by the College’s Primary Section staff, on the instructions of Primary Section Head/Assistant Principal Saliya Krishantha, and under the supervision of Principal Athula Wijewardena.
The perahera will include both udarata and pahatharata dance items. This year’s perahera will commence from the College and proceed to Alapalawa Junction, and along Wakwella Road to Minuwangoda Junction. It will thereafter return to the College via Elliot Road.
The ‘Mihindu Api 2003’ Group has organised a dansala to distribute soft drinks for students taking part in the perahera.
