The Board of Discipline of the University of Peradeniya has suspended 11 undergraduates of the university in connection with the ragging of freshers of the Faculty of Management.

In the course of the investigation it was alleged that the freshers were taken to a hall of residence and forced to eat rice, that was not even fit for an animal, for five days.
