University of Colombo advances in THE Impact Rankings 2023
View(s):The University of Colombo moved up to secure a place between 401st-600th in the fifth edition of the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings in June 2023.
THE Impact Rankings serves as a global benchmark for universities, evaluating their performance in alignment with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The University of Colombo has made significant progress in this year’s ranking compared to the last year in which the university was positioned in a place between 601st-800th in the overall ranking.
This year, the overall ranking includes 1,591 universities from 112 countries/regions, and the improvement of the University of Colombo reflects the gradual enhancements made over the past few years in research, teaching, community outreach and other relevant areas.
