Ayodhya Iddawela Perera will take over as the next Managing Director of Sampath Bank PLC from July 1, 2023. She will succeed the incumbent Managing Director, Nanda Fernando, who will conclude his term in office on June 30.
Having pursued a Master of Business Administration at the Postgraduate Institute of Management of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Ms Perera has had an illustrious career at Sampath Bank spanning more than three decades. She is a reputable figure in the industry and possesses expertise across the industry with a notable focus on Corporate Banking, International Banking and Credit Control.
