Award winning film Director Prasanna Vithanage’s 2009 film “Akasa Kusum” (Flower of the Sky) will be screened on the newly introduced TNL TV Sinhala movie belt at 9.30 pm on Sunday June 18.
Produced by H.D Premasiri, Malini Fonseka plays the lead in the film which revolves around the real life tale of a yesteryear super star.

TNL TV’s ‘Heta Rata Yana Atha’ discussion programme, was telecast on Thursdays’ at 9.30 pm. recently focusing on cinema industry and it was participated by award winning filmmaker Prof. Sunil Ariyarathna, producer H.D. Premasiri and veteran cinema journalist Aruna Gunarathna.
The discussion about the Sinhala cinema Industry was moderated by Sudath Jayasundara, attorney-at-law.
