‘One Mic’ creates a platform for Umara’s pupils

‘One Mic-Phase 3’, an evening of music coloured by the students of Umara Music Studio Academy will go on boards from 7.00 pm onwards on June 21 at the BMICH.
Musically backed by ‘Freeze’, the show would be made to an unforgettable evening with the guest performance by Daddy. In addition to the young singers, Methun, Falen Adria, Ridma and Kaizer Kaiz will also join the show.
After an audition process, 24 young singers who are selected from the academy would be featured at the show while a few young singers would release their own songs
Started two years ago, ‘One Mic’ is aimed to create a platform for young students who are planning the international musical arena. Umara Sinhawansa initiated the academy in February 2017 and there are over 3500 students studying at the academy at present. (SF)
