Online English course for undergrads and outsiders
View(s):An online English course for undergraduates is to be available for students – and those interested – for a nominal fee.
The University of Colombo School of Computing is currently conducting the course for new entrants and those in the first year.
Around 35,000 join the course online, but in order to expand the reach of the study programme, a decision has been taken to invite outsiders to take part.
Students and others outside the university system following the course will be entitled to a certificate after completing the three month course.
Lectures are conducted live and students would be able to interact by raising questions.
