‘Lake Avenue’: Tranquil in the city

Some travellers prefer to stay at a hotel within the city limits, but some prefer to enjoy the tranquil by the countryside. But it is very rare to have a hotel within the city limits with absolute calm and peaceful environment.
‘Lake Avenue Resort’, the latest addition to fast growing Kandy’s hotel inventory, is the best example for tranquil living in the city. This modern hotel boasts of having 16 luxury rooms and offers a luxurious and personalised experience to its guests.
Owned and operated by the newly formed Kings Lake Hotel Collection in association with the Dinapala Group, ‘Lake Avenue’ boutique hotel, offers the most modern and stylish accommodation including seven luxury Suites with Lake View and private balconies, five Suite rooms with a view of Udawatta Kele, two family rooms, one Avenue Suite and one Lake View Deluxe Suite.
All rooms at ‘Lake Avenue’ are fitted with a flat-screen LCD TV, mini-fridges, safe, tea/coffee making facilities, king size spacious double beds, en-suite bathroom fitted with all luxury amenities and free Wi-Fi throughout the property.
Opened in April 2023, ‘Lake Avenue’ resort is a restored version of a multi-level commercial property. The venue offers up a cosy living space, the quiet surroundings and privacy despite its busy and noisy central location.

The hotel even has an on-site artist who can draw any destination that captures your interest in Kandy.

‘Lake Avenue’ prioritises the food and beverage experience, offering two different dining areas. The main restaurant ‘Café, La Via, creates a soothing atmosphere, which specialises in authentic Italian cuisine. The rooftop Lotus Lounge is a specialised outlet for private dining. From pastries and bakery delicacies to a range of Italian dishes, the culinary offerings at Lake Avenue cater to both local and international tastes.

The open air Rooftop dining offers with a mesmerising Lake view specially during the dinner time. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, ‘Avenue’ brings the seamless integration of flavours and cuisine from around the World under the guidance of hotel’s experienced Executive Chef Rasika.
‘Actually cuisine is one of our main driving forces. Many comment about our cuisine. From simple Kandyan village meal to star class dining and Sri Lankan culinary experiences from the hill to the sea are included in our menu’ he added.
