DE SILVA, RANJIT (former Managing Director of Mercantile Leasing Limited, VP of Indo-Suisse Bank and Financial Analyst of People's Bank) - beloved husband of Indira (formerly of Ladies College), much loved father of Rushan and Sandhun, father-in-law of Gayathri, brother of Asoka De Silva, Manel Sarathchandra, Upali De Silva, Rani De Silva and Srilal De Silva, brother-in-law of Nirmala Ranasinghe, Sriyanie Ranasinghe and Ranjanie Samarakkody, passed away peacefully on the 20th of June 2023. A private funeral was held on 22nd June 2023, in accordance with the family's wishes.
Deshamanya Tissa Devendra (1929-2023), beloved husband of Indrani, father of Jaliya & Rashmi, father-in-law of Himali Devendra & Sanath Ukwatte, grand father of Saakya, Sahitra, Swyrie & Elisha. Brother of Yasmin Perera, Somasiri Devendra (ex Navy), Ransiri Menike Silva & Brother-in-law of Dayadari Devendra. The cremation was held on Saturday the 24th.
