Noorul Mifra Faiz receives PhD in New Zealand

Noorul Mifra Faiz from Maligawatte, Colombo 10, received her PhD doctorate in Biochemistry at the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Otago in New Zealand.
The graduation ceremony was held at the Otago University on May 13.
Noorul Mifra received the University of Otago Doctoral Scholarship in 2019.
She is a past pupil of Colombo Fathima Muslim Girls’ College and St Bridget’s Convent, and daughter of Fowzul Hinaya Faiz and Ameerul Faiz.
Head of Biochemistry Department, Prof Peter Dearden and Deputy Head of Department Associate Prof Elizabeth Ledgerwood are in the picture with Dr Noorul Mifra Faiz.
