Aahil, Louis, Vichinthya emerge victorious

Aahil Kaleel, Louis Knese and Vichinthya Nilaweera came out victorious in the finals of the Boys Junior Singles Under-14, 16 and 18 age group categories at the 108th Colombo Tennis Championship played at the SLTA tennis courts in Greenpath, Colombo yesterday.
Kaleel defeated Chamindu Abeysinghe in a hard-fought final to claim a 2-1 win in the Under-14 Boys Singles final while Knese overcame Chamindu Abeysinghe by 2-1 in the Under-16 Boys Singles final. This is the second time Abeysinghe was defeated in the competition by Knese. Nilaweera, in the meantime, got the better of Ganuka Fernando 2-0 to emerge the Boys Singles Under-18 champion.
