Sri Lanka and Jordan discuss cooperation in education sector
View(s):Sri Lanka and Jordan have discussed enhancing existing bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the field of higher education, especially exchanging academic expertise.
Sri Lanka Ambassador to Jordan, J A D S Priyangika Wijegunasekara recently met with the Education Minister and Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister of Jordan Azmi Mahafzah at the Ministry premises.
Ambassador Wijegunasekara said exchanges and cooperation in education promote comprehensive and healthy development of bilateral relations, and that Sri Lanka is ready to support exchanges with Jordan in areas of common interest.
Minister Azmi Mahafzah spoke positively of Sri Lanka’s achievements in education and expressed his aspiration for more ways to enhance possible cooperation between the two countries.
