Dinupa Kodagoda walks through ‘Paradise’
View(s):Sri Lankan Singer/Songwriter Dinupa Kodagoda releases her latest single ‘Mey Paradeesaye’ (The Paradise), a long-awaited song that has been initially performed for THEEVRA Live (2008) Concert in Colombo. Ever since she started to perform this song on live gigs and on live TV shows, the song has been highly appreciated by her fans. The idea of the song was to create an atmosphere to feel the Essence of Love from a feminine perspective. In this song, a girl talks about love in a universal aspect, letting the audience absorb it according to their own intellect.
The song was written by Charith Senadheera. Composed and Produced by Nadika Weligodapola. Produced at the THEEVRA Productions and released under the record label; ‘THEEVRA Records’.

Dinupa is a one-of-a-kind Artist and Performer. Being a member of the musical TV programme ‘Hapan Pedura’ (2001-2007), Dinupa has gained her popularity as a child artist. She’s working as both a professional recording artiste and a live performer.
At the age of 4, she started to learn Hindustani Classical Music, later on, she became a member of Dr. Premasiri Khemadasa Foundation (a pioneering composer of Sri Lankan Opera). Since 2008 she has been a member & the co-artistic director of the THEEVRA ensemble. She graduated with a Performing Arts (Special) Degree from the University Of Visual & Performing Arts (Colombo). Dinupa is an award-winning actress who also works in Theatre and Cinema and participated in several local and international Arts
festivals.
At the moment she’s working with two theatre productions and getting ready for the THEEVRA Live concert series along with a music album release.
