EXMO 2023 Flagship Technological Exhibition of University of Moratuwa
View(s):Uplifting the nuances of technological and innovative advances of the modern world, EXMO 2023, brought forward by the University of Moratuwa’s Faculty of Engineering with the collaboration Faculties of Architecture, Information Technology, Business and Medicine, is set to showcase the avant-garde outlooks of its talented undergraduates to the wider community while raising cognizance about emerging technologies. This testimonial exhibition serves as a strengthening pillar to the Faculty of Engineering’s commitment to the build-up within the country, inspiring the local community and sparking conversations about the latest trends in the field. With much anticipation and preparation, the EXMO 2023 exhibition will be held on 27th & 28th of July from 8.00am to 8.00pm and on the 29th from 8.00 am to 5.00pm at the university premises open for the public eye.
The exhibition is set to be conducted under three main events where firstly, in order to encourage active participation, innovation competitions will be held with its winners selected by a professional panel consisting of university professors and industrial experts and awarded for their outstanding talents. Secondly the event will showcase the remarkable final year projects of undergraduate students, which serves as the culmination of their university education, highlighting their profound understanding and practical application of various concepts, who have spent four years honing their skills and knowledge in preparation for the corporate world. Furthermore, EXMO 2023 will feature a series of educational sessions aimed at enhancing the technological knowledge of school students, undergraduates from various universities, and the public conducted by industry experts, university lecturers, and enthusiastic undergraduates themselves.
