Rodney presents books to Dr. Vethodi

Veteran journalist, filmmaker, teledrama director and song writer Rodney Withanapathirana presented two of his latest writings ‘Sri Lanka travel Notes’ and ‘London Heat’, a novel to the Consul General of Sri Lanka to Mumbai, Dr. Valsan Vethodi at the Consul General office in Mumbai.
Consul General Dr. Vethodi is not a new name to the arts and culture in Sri Lanka as he is the producer of ‘Adara Geethaya’ yesteryear popular film directed by the late Amaranath Jayathilake. Presently Dr. Vethodi is also writing a fictional book titled ‘Mahalaxmis in Jeans’.
Withanapathirana met the Consul General during his recent visit to Mumbai.
Originally written in Sinhala ‘Sri Lanka Travel Notes’ was translated to English by Gratian awarded writer and senior journalist Gamini Akmeemana.
