Ampara, Batticaloa, Trincomalee U-13 badminton squads formed

The Under-13 badminton pools for Ampara, Batticaloa and Trincomalee districts were formed as part of Sri Lanka Badminton’s (SLB) island-wide initiative of forming district squads. The programme was held under the guidance and patronage of SLB President Rohan de Silva, in the presence of Chairman of SLB’s Regional Development Committee Roshan Gunawardena and several other officials who attended the selections.
The Ampara District pool was selected in the presence of the President of District Badminton Association Dr. Thilak Rajapaksa (MP), while the Batticaloa District Programme was conducted in the presence of District Badminton Association President Rajan. The Trincomalee District pool was formed in the presence of the President of District Badminton Association, Senior Superintendent of Police Prasanna Brahmanage. The U-13 District pooling programme is sponsored by Mobil, 3M and LiNing.
