On-the-job training in software engineering at Fidenz Academy

Software development company Fidenz Technologies is inviting undergraduates and fresh graduates to join its training and development arm, Fidenz Academy, to study and engage in software engineering under the mentorship of senior engineers.

The training is provided absolutely free – in fact, the selected trainees will be paid an allowance by Fidenz Academy during the two-month training period.

Initially, the trainees receive on-the-job training at Fidenz Academy on developing solutions for real-world problems. Thereafter, they are employed by Fidenz Technologies to develop software for businesses in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, US, Australia and Singapore.

Fidenz Academy was one of the first software development companies in Sri Lanka to introduce a structured, automated process to train undergraduates. This test consists of 100 programming challenges. The first 80 challenges teach the basics of JavaScript based on freeCodeCamp. There onwards, it tests the candidates’ ability to write algorithms and solve problems.
