‘Southeast Asian Culinary Journey’ an exquisite culinary affair, dedicated to honouring the rich traditions of Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia is now on at the Ramada by Wyndham Colombo starting at 7.00pm, at the Gardenia Restaurant on Sunday, 27th August.

Step into a world where culinary artistry meets cultural heritage, as Director Culinary Chef Mangala Arunashantha curates a dining extravaganza that pays homage to the vibrant cuisines of these three diverse nations. With meticulous attention to authenticity, the buffet promises a remarkable array of dishes that have captured the hearts and palates of Southeast Asia.

The journey begin with the soul-soothing aromas of Sop Buntut, an oxtail soup that hails from Indonesia. Accompanying this delight is Gado Gado salad, a colourful ensemble of vegetables served with a delectable peanut sauce. The flavors of Indonesia come alive in every bite, transporting you to the bustling streets of Jakarta.

Delve further into the appetizer corner, where the tantalizing allure of Chicken Lobak beckons. With its crispy exterior and succulent interior, this Malaysian delicacy offers a symphony of textures and flavors that mirror the diverse Malaysian culture.

Moving on to the main courses, Beef Rendang, a signature dish from Indonesia, takes centre stage. The Chicken Laksa offers a harmonious balance of creamy coconut broth and intricate spices, embodying the soul of Singaporean cuisine. Indulge in the culinary tapestry of Malaysia with Slew Bok Choi, a stir-fried vegetable dish that perfectly encapsulates the essence of Malaysian street food.
