Cyril Wickramage, veteran film, tele drama and stage drama artiste felicitated

A felicitation programme was held on Aug 27 at Kalapura, Mt Lavinia to felicitate veteran film, tele drama and stage drama artiste Cyril Wickramage. The event was organised by Anandaneeya Sinhala Cinemawa, a group of film lovers and artistes. Mr Wickramage is a talented, award-winning actor, now in his 90s. Anandaneeya Sinhala Cinemawa has been fulfilling its task of helping and felicitating film performers who rendered a service to society by entertaining people. “Our programmes delight artistes of our time,” said Ananda Gamage, head of Anandaneeya Sinhala Cinemawa. Mt Lavinia Police and Kalapura House Owners’ Association assisted.
