NCHS conducted a USA open day on the 25th of September, 2022 from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm at the college premises in Colombo. The event was well received by prospective students and their families, and they engaged enthusiastically with the university representatives who has come to

Sri Lanka specially for the event. Scholarships and special packages were made available to the students, including Scholarships up to $27,000 dollars at the university of Kentucky.

“We were able to talk to the students, they were engaged and excited for their future. I was able to share why Fresno State was a good fit for many of them and that includes the location, affordability, national ranking and documented student success” Dr. Scott Moore is the Dean of the Division of Continuing and Global Education and Director International Services and Programmes, California State University, Fresno.

Jane Benson-Rivera – Assistant Director, International Programmes – University at Albany, (State University of New York), added that she was in Sri Lanka for the second time to talk to students about the opportunities available “We have a long track record of students coming to Albany from NCHS. They have been successful, they have been able to graduate, entire excellent career paths and stay and work in America if they choose to” she said. “We do offer scholarship funding!” she added.
