A touch of local and European from new furnishing store
Blending the creativity of local artisans and interior designers with imported fabric from Europe, new furnishing retailer Perago opened their doors at No. 48, Chitra Lane, Colombo 5.
Designer and Manager Lashinika Weerakoon, Directors Shafraz Thawfeek and Ahamad Farook along with Head Designer Rezani Rishafy spoke at the press conference announcing the launch on September 27.
“Our vision for Perago is simple, yet revolutionary,” said Director Shafraz Thawfeek. “We aim to provide our valued customers with an immediate, unparalleled selection of premium in-stock furniture.” Director Ahamed Farook said their readily available stock could also be customised and available for immediate purchase.
“We noticed a huge gap in the marketplace. While usually custom-made furniture takes about four months on average to be delivered, Perago delivers within a period of 14 -21 days.”
A key feature is their metallic finishing and plating, offering even gold-toned finishes.
