The Air Force Eagles’ Golf Links and Courses are set to host the eagerly anticipated second edition of the Eagles’ Monsoon Cup Golf Tournament 2023 on October 28 and 29 against the stunning backdrop of China Bay, in close proximity to the bustling harbour city of Trincomalee.

This new tournament has been meticulously organised to bridge the gap in golfing events during the monsoon season. Additionally, it has the noble objective of rejuvenating golf, which had faced a downturn in recent years due to the pandemic and various national challenges.

Since opening the doors for registrations, the tournament has already garnered over 60 enthusiastic golfers from every corner of the country. Intriguingly, alongside the coveted Eagles’ Monsoon Cup, golfers will also vie for the prestigious Eagles’ Monsoon Defence Challenge Trophy, which is bestowed upon the most exceptional serving player from the Tri Forces.

The organisers have kept registrations still open, and the tournament is well on its way to establishing itself as a key event on the golfing calendar.
