View(s):Minor Hotels Sri Lanka, the holding company of Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort, Anantara Kalutara Resort, and Avani Kalutara Resort, hosted a momentous event, ‘An Expression of Gratitude’, at the Shangri-La Hotel Colombo last week.
The occasion served as a warm gesture to honour the unwavering support that Minor Hotels Sri Lanka has received throughout the years, even in the face of multiple crises that temporarily halted Sri Lanka’s travel industry. Distinguished figures, industry leaders, travel agents, top corporate representatives and senior media professionals graced the event, which was further dignified by the presence of the Minor Hotels corporate team, including William Costley, Senior Vice President of Operations, Asia, who delivered an address expressing appreciation.
Mr. Costley remarked, ‘I have witnessed remarkable resilience during challenging times, followed by a surge in demand from international travellers eager to explore the unparalleled diversity of this stunning island, replete with abundant natural beauty, heritage, cultural treasures, and world-class beachfront resorts along the country’s southern and eastern coastlines’. He underscored the island’s immense potential for international tourism’.
