The Beatles’ final song ‘Then And Now’

The Beatles have a new release! Their final song ‘Then And Now’ was released on November 3.

A few weeks ago Sir Paul McCartney, one of the two surviving members of the legendary group, confirmed artificial intelligence (AI) had been commissioned to create the last Beatles song ‘Then And Now’. The video for the track is directed by Sir Peter Jackson who also did the documentary ‘The Beatles: Get Back’ in 2021.


Kenya Grace on top of UK chart

Kenya Grace, a newcomer to the UK music scene is on top of the UK singles chart with ‘Strangers’. The dance/ drum ’n bass track holds on to the No: 1 position for a third consecutive week. South African-born Grace, raised in Southampton in England, has been releasing her music independently since the COVID-19 lockdown. Her debut hit ‘Strangers’, a sad but nevertheless calm track was uploaded on social media in July and there has been no turning back for the singer and songwriter since.

‘Strangers’ debuted on the UK singles chart eight weeks ago at 20 before rising smoothly and taking the No: 1 spot. This week it had 4.4 million streams. ‘Strangers’ is written and produced by Kenya Grace. She is the second UK female artist to record that feat since ‘Running Up The Hill’ by Kate Bush in 2022. Grace is also the first solo female UK artist to score a No: 1 song on the singles chart since Ella Henderson’s ‘Ghost’ in 2014.


Kid Laroi back on the chart
Kid Laroi, the Australian artist returns to the UK singles chart with ‘Too Much’ where he is joined by Jungkook of BTS from South Korea and Central Cee, the rap artist from the UK.

‘Too Much’ is the third track off Laroi’s upcoming album ‘The First Time’. The radio friendly song is Laroi’s third UK top 10 career hit. His last hit ‘Stay’ featuring Justin Bieber peaked at No: 2 in 2021.

Meanwhile Jungkook’s ‘Seven’ has become the fastest rising track on Spotify with over one billion streams. The song which features rapper Latto has taken 108 days to hit the mark overtaking Miley Cyrus’ ‘Flowers’ which reached one billion streams in 112 days.
