‘Retro Music with the Stars’ a Sing-A- long musical event featuring one of Sri Lanka’s best sing along bands X’Periments with number of singing sensations will come alive on 18th November at the BMICH Banquet Hall at 7.30pm
‘Retro Music with the Stars’ is organised by the Symphony (Pvt) Ltd, headed by Dushyantha M. Dias Abeyegunawardene in aid of the Paediatric Ward of the Cancer Hospital, Maharagama.
Symphony (Pvt) Ltd, have been organising this annual Sing-along musical event for the last seven years and the current Sing Along party will feature Mignonne Fernando (of Jetliner fame)with Mariazelle Gunathileke of ‘Kandy Lamissi’ fame, Sureshini Wanigasuriya, Ishini Fonseka and Suraj Nilanka backed by Sohan and the X’ Periments. The show will compere by Kumar de Silva.
All proceeds and profits of these events were donated by Mr and Mrs Abeygunawardena to the Children’s Cancer Ward of Apeksha Cancer Hospital, Maharagama each year.
The Symphony (Pvt) Ltd has donated more than Rupees One million worth of Medical Equipment to the Children’s wards of the National Cancer Institute Maharagama during the past six years as the proceeds collected from the previous Sing A-long Concerts.
