S. Thomas’ maintain unbeaten run
S. Thomas’ College continued their winning streak, with a convincing 90-run win over Richmond College to record their eighth win in the Under-19 Inter-School Limited Over Tournament at the encounter played in Dombagoda.
The Thomians made a modest total of 218-8 after taking first lease of the wicket as a half century by Senadhi Bulankulame helped them bolster the total. Chasing an easy target Richmond succumbed to the efforts of the Thomian bowling trio Akash Fernando, Abeeth Paranawidana and Ashen Perera, who together shared nine wickets. Richmond were bowled out for a paltry score of 125 runs.
