Thomian Society new president Sudath
View(s):Sudath Jayasundara, attorney-at-law was appointed president of the Thomian Society recently at the AGM held at the Royal Colombo Golf Club.
The Thomian Society comprises old boys of SThomas’ College Mt Lavinia, Colpetty, Guruthalawa and Bandarawela.
The founder president was Dr Vijaya Corea, who now holds the position of patron.
Sudath Jayasundara
Sudath was in the STC Mt Lavinia OBA executive committee and OTSC ex co. He is a member of the STC Class of 1981.
He is chief organiser of UNP Colombo District, Maharagama Electorate, and is president of the UNP Buddhist Society and the UNP’s newly-formed Arts and Cultural Forum.
He is a Director of TNL TV and Isira Radio and a presenter of political programmes and discussions on Buddhism in Sinhala and English.
He was former Chairman of Shraddha TV and Lanka Transformers, and serves on the director board of private companies including Harishchandra Mills, Bogawanthalawa Tea Estate Plc, Sithara Ltd, and Blue Diamonds Jewellery PLC.
