Skipper Niroshan Dickwella shone with a fine knock of 105 to help NCC to come out on top on the second day against Chilaw Marians in the Major Club 3-day encounter played at Surrey Village in Maggona yesterday.

Dickwella’s knock helped NCC to score 266, resuming from their overnight score of 132-4. This was in reply to Chilaw Marians’ 208. Chilaw Marians, batting the second time ended the day on 150-6, helped by a knock of 65 by Kasun Vidura.

Galle CC, Tamil Union, SSC and Sebastianites have taken first inning leads against their opponents. All matches will continue today.
