The proposed STEM centre at St Benedict’s College will open during the first term of the 2024 academic year and provide students with the opportunity to learn robotics, drone technology, coding, 3D design, and printing.

St Benedict’s College teachers and students will benefit from this transforming experience that fosters learning and growth.

The principal of St Benedict’s College, Rev Bro (Dr) Pubudu Rajapaksha – FSC, the staff and old boys of the college met with P R Dewabandu, the Zonal Director of Education and his officials, and Gayathri Kanakaratne, Deputy Director of Technology Education of the Education Ministry, and Sunil Ranjith Dediwalage, a STEM practitioner in Australia and a facilitator at St Benedict’s College, to discuss plans to implement this transformative process at the College.
