Visits with Alumni
During our university tour, we had the pleasure of visiting several outstanding institutions and reconnecting with some of our alumni. At the University of Alabama, we caught up with Nishel Archana De Silva, who pursued Engineering Technology in Chemical Engineering, and Rashomi Madhanan, who excelled in Chemistry. At SUNY Albany, we were delighted to meet Don Ushari Nimega, a graduate in Business Management. At Salisbury University we had the pleasure of meeting Melinda Adams, who graduated in Biomedical Science with a Pre-med focus, as well as Nikini Amarasinghe, who followed the same programme as Melinda. The Fresno State visit brought us face to face with Malindu Minuwara Jayasekara in Mechanical Engineering, along with Induwara Adeesha Bandara in Construction Management, and Chathura Jayasekara in Mechanical Engineering. Our trip to Sacramento State introduced us to the talented trio of Joshua Shonal Phillip in Mechanical Engineering, Sarah Abeysinghe in Biochemistry and Biomedical Science, and Moveen Dinal Elapperuma also in Mechanical Engineering. Lastly, at Northridge, we caught up with Dimagi Gajanayake, an accomplished graduate in Industrial Engineering. These encounters reinforced the strong bond we share with our alumni and provided valuable insights into their diverse career paths.
