Budget 2024: Parliament to debate VAT Bill today
View(s):Parliament will meet today to debate the second reading of the Value Added Tax (Amendment) Bill and the Finance Bill.
The debate is scheduled to be held from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm.
Meanwhile, the last three days of the Committee Stage Debate of the budget will be held from Monday (11) to Wednesday (13), and the voting on the third reading of the Appropriation Bill (Budget) for the financial year 2024 is scheduled to be held on Wednesday at 6 pm.
