J’Pura Uni wins gold in Best Annual Reports and Accounts competition
View(s):The University of Sri Jayewardenepura won the gold award in the Best Annual Reports and Accounts competition organised by the Association of Public Finance Accountants of Sri Lanka (APFASL), the Public Sector Wing of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
It was the first time the university category clinched the overall gold award in the central government category.
The University of Sri Jayewardenepura competed among the statutory boards including universities. The University also secured the overall gold award in the central government category.
The competition, initiated in 2016, is conducted by the APFASL, and witnessed 234 entries this time.
The University said its success in clinching the overall award at the 8th Annual Award Ceremony has marked a huge milestone in its history.
The theme presented by the University in this competition was ‘Adapting and Innovating: Navigating Change in Education’.
