Chanthuka steers St Sebastian’s to second successive win
A match bag of 11 for 100 by left-arm spinner Manuja Chanthuka paved the way for
St Sebastian’s to pull off a stunning three-wicket win over S. Thomas’ Mt Lavinia in the Under 19 encounter concluded at Moratuwa yesterday.
Manuja bagged seven wickets in the first innings and four in the second innings to lead them to their second successive outright win within five days.They earlier beat Maliaydeva college.
In the other matches played, St Peter’s and St Thomas Matara won on first innings while exchanges were even in the match between Royal and St Anne’s Kurunegala on day one.
