A coffee table book on the University of Kelaniya was presented to the Malwatte Chapter Mahanayake, the Venerable Tibbotuwawe Sri Sumangala Thera, recently by Professor Amal Vadysinghe on behalf of the university’s alumni.
The Mahnayake showed a great interest in the book and the University of Kelaniya, said Professor Vadasinghe, who is now attached to the Peradeniya University.
He said the Kelaniya University is a reservoir of knowledge and is committed to promoting research and practical knowledge.
The publication, Professor Vadysinghe said, coincides with the reunion of Kelaniya University’s alumni, “Back to the Bubble 2023.” Professor Vadasinghe told the Mahnayake that the book was a collection of articles signifying the collaborative journey where academia and industry converge on uncharted territories of innovation.
