The eighth edition of Colomboscope draws to a close today after a ten-day feast of artistic and creative interpretations of its theme ‘Way of the Forest’. A packed programme of film screenings, workshops, wetland walks, readings and workshops saw an enthusiastic participation throughout the festival.

Drawing in enthusiasts from all corners of the globe, this edition of the interdisciplinary art festival brought together 50 artists, collectives, and cultural initiatives to explore eroding ecological histories, lost environmental wisdom and the hope of regeneration.

Today’s exhibits at the J. D. A Perera Gallery and Barefoot Gallery are still open for viewing from 10 a.m to 7 p.m. with curated tours at 11 a.m. See https://www.colomboscope.lk/way-of-the-forest for more information.
