Rotary International President Gordon R Mclnally in Sri Lanka
View(s):Rotary International President Gordon R Mclnally arrived in Sri Lanka Tuesday on a four -day visit. Rotary District Governor Jerome Rajendram recieved him at the Bandaranaike International Airport.
His visit aims to strengthen ties and foster collaboration between Rotary International and the Rotary community in Sri Lanka. Mclnally addressed the youth organisations of Interact and Rotaract at Cinnamon Grand Hotel. He also signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Health Ministry underscoring Rotary International’s commitment to supporting health initiatives in Sri Lanka.
Mr Mclnally visited the National Hospital to hand over emergency medical equipment further emphasising Rotary’s dedication to addressing the critical healthcare needs in the country.
An intercity meeting facilitated interaction between Mr Mclnally and Rotarians of the District. A highlight of the visit was a charity banquet dinner scheduled at Shangri-la Hotel , celebrating Rotary’s value and shared commitment to meaningful service.
