Maharagama Polymath International School recently held its inaugural Annual Prize Giving Ceremony at the Maharagama NIE Auditorium. Established in 2017, this marked the first time that Polymath College organized such an event.
The ceremony featured notable figures, including Mr. Upali Gunasekara, the school’s Principal, and Dr. Jagath Alwis, Executive Vice President of Ceylinco Insurance Company, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. The event also had the privilege of hosting Mr. Shafkan Faris, the Cambridge Assessment And Press Sri Lanka Manager (English), and Mrs. Mercy Nalini Edussuriya, former principal of Vishaka Vidyalaya, Colombo, who attended as special guests for the prize-giving ceremony. The distinguished guests played a pivotal role in recognizing and celebrating the achievements of the students. Devumi Sahansa Edrisuriya was honored as the most talented student in the junior section, while Methdinu Devnith Rajaguru received the accolade for the best student in the senior section. The ceremony served as a momentous occasion to acknowledge and reward the outstanding accomplishments of the students at Maharagama Polymath International School.
