Where are we on the world uni rankings?
View(s):The University of Colombo has been selected as Sri Lanka’s best university, according to the Webometrics World University Ranking, which was released this month.
In the second place was the Colombo University. The Sri Jayewardenapura University and the Peradeniya University have been placed third and fourth, respectively. The Colomb University’s world ranking was 1426, the Sri Jayewardenapura University 1922 and the University of Peradeniya 2020. The other world rankings of the Sri Lankan universities are as follows;
University of Moratuwa (2199), University of Ruhuna (2399), Rajarata University (3016), University of Kelaniya (3037), University of Jaffna (3728), Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (4018),
Sabaragamuwa University (4337), Wayamba University (4380), Eastern University (5091), Open University (5770), Sri Lanka Technology Campus (6570), Uva Wellassa University (7318), General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (7458), South Eastern University (7897) and NSBM Green University (10617).
