Sri Lanka and Thailand yesterday established close and wide-ranging economic ties through the signing of a free trade agreement after extensive talks at the Presidential Secretariat. President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin are seen being given a guard of honour and a 19-gun-salute.
