Ananda Guru Harasara on Friday
View(s):Teachers who served Ananda College, Colombo, will be honoured for their excellent service at a ceremony on February 16 at 4 pm at the Kularathna Hall of the College.
The event titled ‘Ananda Guru Harasara’ has been organised by the Old Boys’ Association.
The chief guest will be former Speaker and old Anandian Deshamanya Karu Jayasuriya, while Prof J B Disanayake will be the honorary guest.
Around 260 teachers will be honoured at the event which includes guest speeches, entertainment programmes, followed by a fellowship, according to Vice President of the OBA Prof Udeni Nawagamuwa.
