This was initiated by signing anagreement by Professor Jan Thomas, the Vice Chancellor of Massey University and Professor G.G. Senaratne, President of GISM in Sri Lanka.
Apart from current Business, IT, Bioscience, Construction and Engineering Degree Pathways, under this extended collaboration, students can graduate to work with highly-paid jobsin agribusiness and farm Management sector in New Zealand.These GISMcourses begin in Sri Lanka underan articulation arrangementwith Massey University and are properly align with agribusiness industry throughout the world. This ensures our graduates have the skills and industry knowledge employers need.

The Graduate Institute of Science and Management, which is known as “GISM”, helps students to study in New Zealand with affordable cost under a model with credit transfer arrangement. By studying one year of the degree course at GISM, Sri Lanka, one can save approximately Rs. 8.0 million from international student course fees and, overall reduction of ‘show money’ in the visa process is Rs. 12.0 million.
Further, after completing their bachelor’s degree, GISM students receive a special 15% discount should they decide to continue with their Master Degree programme. Also, there is an opportunity for the students to be accompanied by their families when they go to New Zealand for master-level courses. Post completion, students can apply for a work visa. If you are joining GISM’s pathway arrangements, either in February or July, you can enter directly with Local or London A/L’s or, through GISM foundation course if you have good O/L results. If you already have a degree or equivalent qualification, you can join GISM to follow a postgraduate programme to transfer to Massey University to complete the Masters in one year.
