Taylor Swift to release 11th album
Mega star Taylor Swift surprised her fans when she announced her 11th studio album at the Grammy Awards. Swift broke the news as she accepted the award for Best Vocal Pop album. ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ will be released on April 19 and will contain 16 tracks.
Post Malone will be featured on the song ‘Fortnight’ and Florence + The Machine on ‘Florida’. Swift 34, last released new material by way of the album ‘Midnights’ in 2022. Last year she released two re-recorded albums ‘Speak Now’ and ‘1989’ as Taylor’s versions.
Adele gets ready for Germany
Adele is working hard to get into shape for her concerts in Germany this August. The 34-year-old multi-award winning artist is reported to be working out three times a day. She will perform at Munich’s 80,000 capacity Open Arena from August 2-24. Originally she was to play four dates but increased it to eight. She is currently doing a residency in Vegas which ends in June.
Adele last performed in Munich in 2016.
Noah Kahan at No: 1 with ‘Stick Season’
Noah Kahan is pretty glued to the UK singles No: 1 position with ‘Stick Season’. The title track to the 27-year-old US artist’s current album has retained its position for a fifth consecutive week. The folk song is his very first UK chart-topping hit. He has written and co-produced the song ‘Stick Season’ with Gabe Simon. ‘Stick Season’ was the most streamed track this week with 8.8 million views. Meanwhile ‘Homesick’ from Kahan’s album re-recorded with Sam Fender is at No: 8 this week on the UK singles chart.
