Staying in school: Students receive free books and uniforms

  President Ranil Wickremesinghe participated in the national programme of distributing free school textbooks and uniforms at St Anthony Girls’ College, Kollupitiya on Wednesday. The distribution programme extends to providing textbooks and uniforms to student monks and nuns across 10,126 schools and 822 pirivena throughout the island.
